The vehicle should go with a speed of 16.81 m/s on a circular road of radius 50m having bank angle 30°

  • Let us go through the parameters given in the problem

        Radius of circular road(r)=50m

        Bank angle(∅)=30°

  • We have the formula

                   Tan∅=v²/rg

                   V²=Tan∅(rg)

                       =Tan(30)×50×9.81

                       = (1/√3)×50×9.81

                     V²= 283.19

                     V=16.18 m/s

  • Therefore,The vehicle should go with a speed of 16.18 m/s so that the friction is not used.
