Answer:

Circumference of the circular swimming pool   = 132m.

SOLUTION

Diameter of the circular swimming pool = 42m.

\sf Radius = \dfrac{Diameter}{2}

Radius of the circular swimming pool = 42/2 = 21m.

\setlength{\unitlength}{1cm}\begin{picture}(0,0)\thicklines\qbezier(2.3,0)(2.121,2.121)(0,2.3)\qbezier(-2.3,0)(-2.121,2.121)(0,2.3)\qbezier(-2.3,0)(-2.121,-2.121)(0,-2.3)\qbezier(2.3,0)(2.121,-2.121)(-0,-2.3)\put(0,0){\line(1,0){2.3}}\put(0.5,0.3){\bf\large 21m}\end{picture}

Circumference of Circle = 2πr (Where 'r' is the radius of the circle).

Here,

r = 21m.

\implies \sf  Circumference \: of \: circular \: swimming\: pool = 2 *\dfrac{22}{7} * 21

\implies Circumference of the circular swimming pool = 2 × 22 × 3

\implies Circumference of the circular swimming pool = 132m.

To find :-

  • Circumference of the circular swimming pool.

Given :-

  • Diameter of the circular swimming pool = 42 meters

How can we find the αnswer :-

  • Here we have diameter of the circular swimming pool firstly we will convert diameter of the circular swimming pool to radius of the circular swimming pool and the by using the formula .

Let's do

\boxed{\red{\:\mathsf{Radius \:=\:\dfrac{Diameter}{2}}}}

Radius  =  42/2

Radius = 21 meters

Finding circumference of the circular swimming pool :-

\longmapsto\mathsf{Circumference \:of\: the\: circle\: =\: 2\:\pi \:r}

\longmapsto\mathsf{Circumference \:of\: the\: circle\: =\: 2\times\:\dfrac{22}{7}\:\times\:21}

\longmapsto\mathsf{Circumference \:of\: the\: circle\: =\: 2\times\:22\:\times\:3}

\longmapsto\mathsf{Circumference \:of\: the\: circle\: =\: 44\:\times\:3}

\longmapsto\mathsf{Circumference \:of\: the\: circle\: =\:132m }

So the circumference of the circular swimming pool is 132m

αnswer :-

\boxed{\mathsf{\bigstar\:\:Circumference\:of\:the\:circular\:swimming\:pool\:=\:132m\:\:\bigstar}}
