This is your required answer.

Given,

Circumference of circular track=2=3140m

where r=radius circular path (where ab is diameter).It means scooter completes half a revolution(circumference/2).

So,

Distance travelled=The actual path traversed =2/2=3140/2=1570 m

Again,

Displacement=The shortest distance travelled by (Final position-Initial position)=Diameter of the circle=2r

Since 2=3140m (here =3.14)

2r=3140/3.14=1000 m.

To calculate the time taken by the displacement

displacement /Time

Time=Distance/Speed=1570/10=157 seconds.
