The circumference of the wheel is 2*3.14*0.5 is 3.14 m.

After rotations, the total distance covered is 62.8 meter.

One of the most important aspects of the problem is to find velocity, therefore velocity=62.8/40= 1.57 m/s.

Acceleration is defined as the rate of change in velocity over a period of time.

Hence acceleration=1.57/40= .04m/s2
