A circular wire enclosing the area of 9,856 cm² is bent to form a square. How much area will be enclosed by that wire?​

\pi {r}^{2}  =  \: 9856 \\  {r}^{2}  \:  = 9856 \div \pi \\   {r}^{2} = 3136 \\ r \:  = 56cm \\

since the circumference of circle will be equal to perimeter of square

  • 2πr = 4 x [ let side of square be x]
  • (2 π 56)/4= x
  • x = 28π

now area of square enclosed by wire = x² = (28π)²

= 784 π² cm²
