Circumference of wire of Radius 3 cm = 2π x 3 = 6π

Now because this wire is cut and placed along circle with a radius of 40 cm

PQ will be the length which will be acquired by this circle

it is known that the length of the arc is θ2πr/2π

now we will put the values in it

6π = θ2π x 40/2π

θ = 6π /40

θ = π/6.6 is the Answer

first find ilthe circumference of both.then subract the smaller from the larger. now use the formula:-
l=the difference we calculated
r=48
thus we have all the values just substitute everything and lo!!! here we get the answer !!
