A circular wire of radius 42 cm is cut and bent into thr form of a rectangle whose sides are in the ratio 6:5. Then find the smaller side of the rectangle

clearly perimeter of rectangle is equal to the circumference of circular wire =2*3.14 *42=263.76
now let length of rectangle be 6x and breadth 5x then
2(6x+5x)=263.76
22x =263.76
x=11.98
therefore smaller side I, e breadth = 5*11.98=59.9
