a circus artist is climbing a long rope, which is tightly streched and tied the top of the vertical pole to the ground . if the angle made by the rope with the ground level is 30° and height of the pole is 10 m , then find the length of the rope.

so it made a right angle at b

sinc'=perpendiculr[opposite side of <c]/hypotenuse

sin30'=10/ac

1/2=10/ac

ac=20m

so the length of rope is 20m
