A circus artist is climbing at 30m long rope,which is tightly stretched and tied from the top of a vertical pole to the ground.Find height of the pole, if the angle made by the rope with the ground is 45°.​

I think, 15√2 m

here , sin45°=

 \frac{ab}{ac}  =  \frac{ab}{30}  =  \frac{1}{ \sqrt{2} }

ab =  \frac{30}{ \sqrt{2} }  =  \frac{30}{  \sqrt{2} }  \times  \frac{ \sqrt{2} }{ \sqrt{2} }  =  \frac{30 \sqrt{2} }{2}  = 15 \sqrt{2}

hence ,the height of pole is 15√2 m.
