The slant height of the conical part of the tent, l = 56.4 m

The diameter of the base of the tent, d = 100 m

So, the radius of the base of the tent, r = 100/2 = 50 m

Cylindrical Part:

CSA = 2πrh

       = πdh

       = 3.14 x 100 x 3.3

       = 1036.2 m²   ...(i)

Conical Part:

CSA = πrl

        = 3.14 x 50 x 56.4

        = 8854.8 m²   ...(ii)

(i) + (ii)

= 1036.2 m² + 8854.8 m²

= 9891 m²

Cost = 9891 x 8

       = Rs. 79,128/-

= 8854.8 + 1036

= 9891 m²

Total Cost :-

1 m² = Rs 8

9891 m² = Rs 8 * 9891

= Rs 79128
