in one tap = 4 hour
and in other tap = 5 hour
the both time is A+b
4+5 = 9 hour
or 1/4+1/5= 20/9 or 9/20

rohitkunvar: wrong
rohitkunvar: part of cistern filled by one tap in 1 hour = 1/4
rohitkunvar: similarly part of cistern filled by other tap in one hour = 1/5
rohitkunvar: if both are opened together it will fill the cistern in 1/4+1/5 = 9/20 means 20/9 hours

Part of cistern filled by one tap in 1 hour = 1/4
Similarly part of cistern filled by another tap in 1 hour = 1/5
If both taps are opened together then part of cistern filled in 1 hour = 1/4+1/5 = 9/20
Means they will fill it in 20/9 hours
