Given :

A class has 64 boys and 38 girls.

To Find :

What percentage of students are boys?

Solution:

Number of boys = 64

Number of girls = 38

Total number of students = No. of boys+ No. of girls

Total number of students = 64+38

Total number of students = 102

Boys percentage = \frac{\text{No. of boys}}{\text{Total no. of students}} \times 100

Boys percentage = \frac{64}{102} \times 100

Boys percentage =62.74%

Hence 62.74% of students are boys.
