A classmate, friend or your favourite tv character in a serial may have recently experienced a negative or traumatic life event of which you are aware. Try to put yourself in the other person’s shoes, try to experience what the other person is feeling, what he/she is thinking and try to take his/her perspective of the entire situation.

If I were to put myself in the shoes of my classmate, friend or favorite TV character, I imagine feeling overwhelmed and scared, as if my entire world has been turned upside down. I would likely feel a sense of uncertainty and confusion as I try to make sense of what has happened. I might be feeling a range of emotions, from anger and sadness to guilt and despair. I would feel a deep sense of loss, as if a part of me has been taken away. I could be feeling the weight of the situation, not knowing how to cope with it.

I could also be feeling lonely and isolated, as if no one understands what I'm going through. I could be struggling to open up to others and find the courage to reach out for help. I would be trying to find some sort of anchor to hold onto, something that reminds me that life can still be good despite the hardships.

I would likely feel a sense of vulnerability and powerlessness, as if my life is suddenly out of my control. I would be trying to make sense of the events that led up to this point and trying to find the strength to move forward. I would be questioning my decisions and choices, replaying the events in my mind and feeling regret for not doing things differently.

Ultimately, I would be feeling scared and uncertain about my future, not knowing what lies ahead.
