A classroom is 10 m long, 6.4 m broad and 5 m high. If each student be given 1.6 m² of the floor area how many student can be accommodated in the room? How many cubic metres of air would each student get?​

Given l=10 m,b=6.4 m,h=5 m

Area of floor total no. of students × Area occupied by each student

l×b=x×1.6

1.6

10×6.4

=x

∴x=40

Total no.of students =40.

Volume of classroom = Area occupied in class room.

lbh= Area occupied in classroom

(10)(6.4)(5)= Air occupied by class

320 m ³= Air occupied by class.

⇒ Each will get = 320/40

=8 m³
