Cleanliness Drive Organized at Greenwoods Global School
Cleanliness drive was organized at Greenwoods Global School on August 14, 2020. Students started the campaign from their respective classes. Many inter-house competitions such as poster making, slogan writing, debate, etc. were organized. The House Captains, along with the entire team of prefects and volunteers, launched cleanliness drive throughout the school campus. They cleaned the school campus and planted approximately 2000 saplings along its boundary.
After the campus cleanliness, the team of volunteers went to the areas adjoining the school and did the cleaning. Our school’s efforts were praised by the Mayor of the city. The local press covered and lauded our school’s contributions in furthering the noble cause. Seeing us, the other schools will follow suit. The principal applauded the school captains, for their leadership qualities and were given commendation certificates; the winners in the competitions were given prizes and certificates also. The students really felt a sense of satisfaction after doing a little towards making their country and surroundings a little cleaner.
