Solution :-

As, the clock gains 15 minutes in 24 hours.

Total hours passed from 12 Noon to 4 AM = 16 hours

So,

In 24 hours, the clock gains minutes = 15 minutes

In 1 hour, the clock will gain minutes = 15/24

In 16 hours, the clock will gain minutes = (15*16) /24

= 240/24

= 10 minutes.

So, at 4 AM the clock will show 4 :10 AM

In 1 day clock gains 15 minutes

Total time passed from 12 noon to 4 A.M = 16 hours

[ 1 day= 24hrs]

In 24 hrs clock gains = 15 minutes

In hr clock gains= 15/24

In 16  hrs clock gains= (15/24) * 16

In 16  hrs clock gains=10 min

The time shown by the clock will be 4:10 A.M
