☞ Time shown will be 2:30 am

\huge\sf\blue{Given}

✭ A clock is set at 12 Am on Sunday

✭ Each hour it lags for a time of 4 minutes in week 1

✭ It leads 5 minutes for every 2 hours for the next 2 weeks

\huge\sf\gray{To \:Find}

◈ The time that the clock would show after 3 weeks?

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

\huge\sf\purple{Steps}

So here we shall first find the total time lagged, that is,in a day it has 24 hours and then I a week 7 days,so on this basis

\sf 1 \ day = 4\times 24

\sf 1 \ day = 96 \ minutes

So then in a week,

\sf 1 \ week = 96\times 7

\sf 1 \ week = 672 \ minutes

Then we were told that there was a lead of 5 min for every two hours so as a day has 24 hours it should have done this 12 times which means,

\sf 1 \ day = 5\times 12

\sf 1 \ day = 60

Then in 2 week,

\sf 7\times 2 \ days = 60 \times 14

\sf 2 \ weeks = 840 \ min

Then their difference will be,

\sf 840 - 672

\sf 168 \ minutes \ lead

So then the time shown after 3 weeks will be,

\sf Time \ Shown = 12 + 168

\sf\orange{Time \ Shown = 2:30 \ am}
