In 24 hrs the clock gains 10 minutes.
So in an hr it gains 5/12 minutes (i.e. 10/24)
The total number of hours from 10 am to 3 pm is 24+5=29 hours
Now multiply 29 by the minutes gained per hour.
⇒29×5/12 or you may simply do 10 minutes + (5×5/12)=12 minutes 5 seconds.
Thus the true time would be 47 minutes 55 seconds past 2 pm.
