If the clock looses ten minutes each hour (I assume that means each real hour, not each clock hour) then the clock will show that 50 minutes have passed each time a real hour has elapsed. So the clock is going at

50/60 = 5/6 speed

So when the clock reads 3:00 pm the amount of time passed will be:

6/5 * (3 hours) = 1.2 * 3 = 3.6 or 3:36 pm

hope this helps...

Heya!! _____________________________ According to the problem,
At first the clock is correctly set at noon.
Then it loses 10 mins after 1 hour.
actual time= 1pm clock shows=12.50pm
then again after 1 hour,
actual time=2pm clock shows=1.40pm
then again after 1 hour,
actual time= 3pm clock shows=2.30pm

we have to find the actual time when it shows 3 pm

so it will take another 30 mins to reach 3pm meanwhile in this 30 mins it will slow down 10/2 i.e 5 mins more.
so 30+5=35 mins more to reach 3pm.
so actual time= 3.35pm when it reads 3pm ___________________________________Hope It helps!!!
