A clock strikes once at 1o'clock and twice at 2o'clock and so on .If it takes 10 seconds to strike at 6o'clock,find the time taken by it to strike at 12o'clock

At 6'0 clock the clock strikes 6 times, so there will be 5 intervals in between the strikes.

The clock takes 10 seconds for 5 intervals.

So 10/5 = 2 seconds for 1 interval.

At 12'0 clock, the clock will strike 12 times.

So there will be 11 intervals in between.

So time required to strike at 12'o clock = 11*2 = 22 seconds

Time taken by it too strike at 12'o clock is 22 seconds
