TSA of aluminium box
=2(lb +BH+hl)

therefore,
= 2(15*10 + 10*6 + 6*15)
= 2(150 + 60 + 90)
= 2(300)
= 600m2

now,
Cost of making the aluminium box
= TSA * rate

therefore,

= (600*50)rs

= 30000rs.

leninviki: rs 50 for 2m so, 15000ans
SahilBaori: nope. read the q again.
SahilBaori: its 50m2 not 50m....
leninviki: what about 2 m wide
SahilBaori: I think he typed the question wrong. May be its just given to confuse.....

Answer: Rs 15,000

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of the box = 15m

Breadth of the box = 10m

Height of the box = 6m

Therefore,

Total surface area of aluminum box = 2[length x breadth + breadth x height + height x length]

T.S.A = 2[15*10+10*6+6*15]

         = 2[150+60+90]

         = 2[300]

         = 600sqm

Length of the sheet required = 600/2

                                                  = 300m

cost of sheet = [300*50]Rs

                       = 15,000Rs
