when you have place a closed coil with resistance are in the magnetic field of the coil it experiences The induced current and EMF which is the electromotive force it is due to electromagnetic induction which is the phenomenon of producing electric current in a conductor by moving it perpendicular to a magnetic field or vice versa the current so produced is the induced current so the Galvanometer that is attached will detect the current changes as the current will flow
