Answer:

height 1.4m

radius 56 - 0.56m

TSA 2pier(r+h)

2*22/7*(0.56+1.4)

2*22/7*1.60

3.2*22/7

10.54(approx)

Answer:

\huge\red{Answer}

Radius of the tank 'r'=56cm

=\frac{56}{100} m=0.56m

Height of the tank h=1.4m

T.S.A. of a cylinder=2πr(r+h)

Therefore Area of the metal sheet required=2πr(r+h)

A=2×\frac{22}{7}×0.56×(0.56+1.4)

=2×22×0.08×1.96

=6.8992m²

=6.90m²
