Radius of tank = 3.5 m

Total surface area of tank = 2 \pi r h +2 \pi r^2

Total surface area of tank = 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 3.5 \times 8 + 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 3.5^2=253 m^2

Area of metal used = 253 sq.m.

Cost of 1 sq.m. metal sheet = Rs.130

Cost of 253 sq.m. metal sheet = 253 \times 130 = Rs.32890
