Radius=Diameter/2=56/2cm=28cm
Height=2.25m
We have to convert radius in m
Therefore, 28/100m=0.28m
T.S.A=2πr (r+h)=2*22/7*0.28*(0.28+2.25)=1.76*2.53m^2=4.4528m^2
Cost of metal=$(4.4528*80)=$356.22

Hope it help u if yes then plz mark it as brainliest

Given - Diameter and height

Find - Cost of metal used to make cylinder

Solution - The cost of metal used to make a cylinder is $ 356

Firstly finding the total surface area of the cylinder.

The total surface area of the cylinder is given by the formula - 2πr ( h+r).

The radius of the cylinder = 56/2

The radius of the cylinder = 28 centimetres or 0.28 metres

Total surface area = 2π*0.28(2.25 + 0.28)

Total surface area = 4.45 square metres

1 square meter costs $80

4.45 square metres will cost = $ 356

So, the cost of making a cylinder of given dimensions is $ 356
