A closed metallic cylinder has its base diameter 56 cm and it is 2.25 m high. Find
the cost of the metal used to make it if it costs 80 per square metre.

Radius=Diameter/2=56/2cm=28cm

Height=2.25m

We have to convert radius in m

Therefore, 28/100m=0.28m

T.S.A=2πr (r+h)=2*22/7*0.28*(0.28+2.25)=1.76*2.53m^2=4.4528m^2

Cost of metal=₹(4.4528*80)=₹356.22
