Sol:) Diameter of the metallic cylinder = 56 cm

 Radius of the cylinder = 28 cm

 Height of the cylinder = 2.25 cm

Total surface area of the cylinder = 2πr(h + r) =

2 x 22/7 x 28 (2.25 + 28) = 176 x (30.25) = 5324 cm2
Rate of the sheet = Rs 80 per cm2

Total cost of the sheet used to make the culinder = 5324 x 80 = Rs 425920

rahuldutta72: per sp m
rahuldutta72: not cm square
HiteshPlayerubg: U forgot to convert the cm to meter man and the question is based on meter sq

Answer:

r=28÷100=0.28m

Total surface

area of cylinder= 2πr(r+h)

=2×22÷7×O.28(0.28+2.25)

=44×0.4(2.53)

=17.6×2.53

=44.528sq m

1sq m = 80 RS

44.528=?

44.528×80

3562.24rs
