A cloth have gaps in between each thread. So water is absorbed by it. But what about paper? It can also absorb water upto some extent.. Do paper also have pores in between or do they have thread like structures as present in cloth or is there any other reason?

see... paper do not have property that the will let tha water to flow through... water molecule get react paper... it get absorbed bye paper
