A cloth merchant bought 35 shirts, each at a price of Rs 280. He sold each of them for Rs. 308. Find his percentage profit. ?​

CP = Rs. 280. SP = Rs. 308.

Profit = 308 – 280 = Rs. 28. Now you need to apply profit percentage formula for the same.

Profit percentage = 100 × 28/280 = 10%
