A cloth merchant has an on order to supply 13000m cloth. He has 145rolls of cloth each measuring 85m 50cm . How much more cloth does he need to buy?

total length of cloth he currently have

= 145x(85m+50cm)

=145x(850cm+50cm)

=145x900 cm

=130500cm

=1305 m

he need to buy

=13000-1305

=11695m more
