Answer:

Actual length of cloth = 55m 50cm

Damaged cloth = 5.4m

Good quality cloth used for stitching the dress =

(55.50 - 5.4)m = 50.1m

Cost of cloth per metre = Rs. 30.50

Amount spent on stitching the dress = 50.1 × 30.50

= Rs. 1528.05
