Answer:420 skirts

Solution:

A clothing store sells 300 skirts in january.

In February the sell is increased by 40%

so,we had to first calculate 40% of 300

300 \times \frac{40}{100} \\ \\ = 120 \\ \\
Now sell of February is = 300+120

= 420 skirts
