A snail is at the bottom of a 30-foot well. Each day he climbs up three feet, but at night he slips back two feet. How many days will it take him to climb out of the well?

AT the finish of a day he atlast climbs one feet only..(3 feet climbs a day - 2 feet slipped by night = 1 feet climb a day)

till 25 days he climbs 25 feet ..

On 26th morning he climbs 25 + 3 = 28 feet

At night he slipped by 2 feet so it gets 26 feet at the end of 26th day

On 27th day he climbs 3 feet so it gets 26 + 3 - 29 th feet

at the end of day in night he slipped by 2 so it gets 29 - 2 = 27 feet

On 28 th day he climbs 3 more feet that is 27 + 3 =30 feet complete on 28 th day

So overall it takes 28 days..
