(i) If the magnet is pushed into the coil, the galvanometer shows momentary deflection in a certain direction .

(ii) If the magnet is withdrawn, the galvanometer deflects in the opposite direction.

(iii) If the magnet is held inside the coil, no current is induced and the galvanometer stops deflecting
