A coin dropped in transparent cylindrical glass tumbler contains pure water more than half of tumbler. Guess and write why the image of the coin appears on the water surface ?​

due to refraction of the image of coin

Explanation:

the water's refractive index is 1.5 I.e. it's denser that air ,so the light will bend and result in refraction ....hence the image of coin appears on surface.
