Given : A coin is tossed 1000 times, if the probability of getting a tail is ⅜.

Total number of trials = 1000.

It is given that probability of getting a tail = 3/8

Then,

The probability of getting a head , P(H) = 1 - probability of getting a tail

P(H) = 1 - ⅜

P(H) = (8 - 3)/8

P(H) = ⅝

Number of times a head is obtained = ⅝ × 1000 = 625 times

Hence, 625 times head is obtained.

Option (C) 625 is correct .
