Heya,
A coin is tossed 20 times in which head turns up 13 times. What is the probability of getting a tail in the next toss?
Ans:- The probability never depends on earlier results.
The probability remains same at each observation .
Probability is given by
No. of possible favourable outcomes/total no. of outcomes
Here,
Favourable results means the result which is in our favour. For example : You and your friend tosses a coin to decide who bats first in the upcoming match. Then if you choose heads during the when he tosses the coin. Then the result favourable for you is Heads. So, Here heads is called the favourable result. The no. of times maximum that we can get head is 1.

Total no. of possible outcomes is the different outcomes which you will get after the observation. Here total no. of outcomes is 2 i.e. heads and tails. So the possibility of your winning the toss is 1/2.

Now, let's come to the question
The probability= Total No. of favourable outcomes/ Total no. of possible outcomes.
 = 1 \div 2
that is half.
So the probability of getting the tails in the next toss is half.
