Total number of times coin is tossed = 600

Number of heads = 342

Number of tails = 258

Let E1 and E2 be the events of getting head or tail respectively .

(i) P(getting a head) = P(E1)

=>

 \frac{num \: of \: heads}{total \: num  \: of \: coins \: tossed }

=>

 \frac{342}{600}

=>

 \frac{57}{100}

=> 0.57

(ii) P(getting a tail) = P(E2)

=>

 \frac{num \: of \: tails}{total \: num \: of \: coins \: tossed}

=>

 \frac{258}{600}

=>

 \frac{43}{100}

=> 0.43

Hope it helps you .
