A coin tossed for a certain number of times. If the probability of getting head is 0.4 and the head appeared up for 24times, find the number of times the coin was tossed. Hence , find the probability of getting a tail and verify that P(H)+P(T)=1

Probability of getting a head = 0.4 and also head comes up 24 times (given) let number of times the coin was tossed, so, 0.4 = head appeared/total no. of times coin was toossed
o.4 = 24/x
x = 24/0.4 = 60
so, x = 60 (number of times)
let the probability of getting the tail be P(T),then
according to question,we get
0.4 + P(T) = 1
P(T) = 1 - 0.4 = 0.6 (probability of tail)
Now,

probability of tail + probability of head = 1 or P(T) + P(H) = 1
0.6 + 0.4 = 1
1.0 = 1
or 1 = 1 ( Hence proved )
