A college conference has total 160 papers, with 25 papers more from mathematics department than doubled the papers from statistic department. Find the number of statistics papers in the college conference.

Let papers in st dept =x
Than paper in maths = 2x+25
So x+2x+25= 160
3x=160-25=135
X=135/3 =45
So number of statistics papers =45
