A colourless gas 'x' has a formula c3 H6 .it decolourises bromine water. Write the chemical name of 'x'.

First of all propene has the formula C3H6.
Second it is an Alkene, an unsaturated hydrocarbon having C=C-C bond, the propene reacts with bromine in the bromine water, addition reaction takes place(halogenation ) ,bromine loses its elemental form and brown colour gets discharged
