Length = 16m 50cm = 1650cm
Breadth =  15m25cm = 1525cm

So, largest no of square tiles = 1586+2 = 1588
So, smallest number of small tiles = 1 +2 =2

AcharyaVII: From where did 1586 come??
akashnilroy: Area = 1650*1525
akashnilroy: So, finding out square root of 1650*1525, we get 1586.81, so we get 1586 +2
AcharyaVII: hmmm
