Answer

96 sq. cm

Solution

Area of kite with two diagonals p and q can be written as,

A=(pq)/2

Here the logo is 12 centimeters wide and 16 centimeters tall means that

Width of kite=12cm and Height of kite = 16cm

p=12cm and q=16cm

The are of logo = area of kite with diagonals p and q

Area, A=pq/2

           =(12 x16)/2=96 sq. cm

A kite figure

Width = 12 cm

Length = 16 cm

To find:

The area

Solution:

Area of kite can be given by,

Area = ( Width * Height ) / 2

The area of logo = The area of kite with diagonals

Area = ( 12 x 16 ) / 2
