Answer:-

20 days will be required for the completion of the project if 10 people are decreased.

Step by step Solution-:

Given-:

Number of days taken by 60 people

= 100 days

Number of days taken by 1 person

= 100*60 days

Concept-: As more people will take less days to complete the project whereas less people will take more days to complete the project. So it is clear that we have to use indirect proportion rule.

According To Question:-

When 10 people are decreased then, total number of people left

=> (60-10) people

=> 50 people

Therefore:-

Here we have to divide as there are more people which will take less days.

Number of days taken by 50 people to complete the project

= > 100*60/50

=> 120 days

Delay in time = 120 - 100 = 20 days

Therefore-:

More 20 days will be required for the completion of the project if 10 people are decreased.
