A company is hired to take 578 clay pots to a florist shop. The florist will pay the company a rs 200 fee, plus re 1 for every pot that is delivered safely . The company must pay the florist rs 4 each for any pots that are lost or broken. If two pots are lost, four pots are broken, and the rest are delivered safely, how much should the company be paid?​

Money Florist should pay to company

= ₹ 200 + ₹ 578 (₹ 1 for each pot )

= ₹ 778

Money Company Pay to Florist as compensation

= ₹ 4 x 6 ( 2 are lost and 4 are broken, ₹ 4 for each which is broken or lost)

= ₹ 24

Money Company paid

= ₹ 778 - 24

= ₹754
