A company that markets consumer electronics like TV, Fridge, and Laptops etc. is having a good time as its sales recently gone up in an exponential way. The national sales manager was a bit skeptical as the company didn’t do anything that could have increased the sales in an exponential way. So the national sales manager visited market and came to know that some distributors and retailers were and are getting involved in unethical practices like manipulating features and warranty. National sales manager communicated to business head to conduct an inquiry but business head was of the opinion that let the issue be raised by customers. An informatory notice should be put out in general to apparise the customer of the manipulative activities carried out under company's name and that the consumer should beware before falling for any such lucrative false promotions done by sellers. Moreover company can issue strict guidelines to the wholesalers so as to prevent any such activities which can tarnish company's goodwill.
