Area of the steel required for 10,000 hemispherical basin is 1232 m².

Solution:

Radius of the hemispherical basin = 14 cm

To the area of steel sheet required to manufacture the basin:

Surface area of the hemisphere = 2πr²

                                                     $=2\times\frac{22}{7}\times14^2

                                                     = 1232 cm²

Area of the steel required for 1 hemispherical basin is 1232 cm².

Area of the steel required for 10,000 basin = 1232 × 10000

                                                                        = 12320000 cm²

To convert cm² into m²:

1 m² = 10000 cm²

12320000 cm² = 12320000 ÷ 10000

                         = 1232 m²

Area of the steel required for 10,000 hemispherical basin is 1232 m².
