Answer:

2,769,480 cm square

Step-by-step explanation:

curved surface area of sphere=2pie  r square

                                              =2*3.14*21*21 cm square

                     1 basin              =2,769.48 cm square

 1000 basin                           =2,769.48*1000

                                             =2,769,480 cm square

Given,

Radius of the hemisphencal basin = 21cm

To find out,

Find the area of steel sheet required to manufacture the 1000 hemispherical basins.

Solution:

Surface area of a hemispherical basin = 2πr^2 = 2 × 22/7 ×21 ×21 = 2772

Therefore the area of the steel sheet required for one basm is 2772cm^2.

Total area of sheet required for 1000 hemispherical

basins = 2772 X1000

= 2772000 cm^2

= 277.2 m^2

Therefore the area of steel sheet required to manufacture the 1000 hemispherical basins is 277.2 square meters.
