Given :- A company with a face value of rs 10 pays a dividend of rs 7.5 what is the dividend yield ?

Answer :-

we know that,

  • Dividend Yield = (Cash Dividend per share / Market Price per share) * 100.

given that,

  • Cash dividend = Rs.7.5 .
  • Market price = Face value = Rs.10

so,

→ Dividend Yield = (7.5/10) * 100 = (75/100) * 100 = 75 % (Ans.)
