In Madhya Pradesh, under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Abhiyan, the youth were introduced to the culture of Northeast India. Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat programme aims to enhance interaction and promote mutual understanding between people of different states through the concept of pairing. Madhya Pradesh has been paired with Nagaland and Manipur under this Abhiyan. AIR correspondent reports that the programme was organized by the NSS unit of Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur. Students of Nagaland and Manipur shared their language and food by their cultural presentation during the program. At the same time, students of Madhya Pradesh also informed about food and cultures of the state through video and PPT to the students of the northeastern states. Program Coordinator Ashok Marathe said that such programs strengthen the unity and integrity of India. Under Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat initiative, the paired states carry out activities to promote a sustained and structured cultural connect in the areas of language learning, culture, traditions, music, tourism, cuisine, sports and sharing of best practices.
